CultureThread, special characters

Mar 9, 2009 at 5:20 PM
After setting CultureThread to my local OS language, the conversion works great, but some javascript code that generates html strings with special characters, i.e. 'º' for degrees, are not being converted and the following is shown:

Example javascript:

var b="<p>Latitude: "+latitude+"º";

//Compressed version:

var b="<p>Latitude: "+latitude+"

It seems the compressor doesn't like special characters...

Is this an issue or it can be solved?

Please please please avoid using special characers, like the plague. please use the correct html markup. try using &#186; instead of the special character.

It works with standard unobfuscated javascript, but I will change it and use html codes.

Thank you again.
