Using with Windows Azure

I'm using YUI Compressor as a MsBuild Task on my Azure project. It works well on locally but when I try to publish it I cannot insert minified packages to my azure application package. Although I have tried a lot of things about package modifying on my .csproj file I couldn't work it out. Is there a known workaround about it?

Hi,

If it works locally then that would suggest there is a problem with your "publish" step.  I am not familiar with Azure development but if you can isolate the problem and post an example project and more details on what's happening then I may be able to help.

YOu need to add the combined files to your project but then, to keep them out of Source Control, you add them as "excluded files" in your .csproj.vspcc file, like:

""
{
"FILE_VERSION" = "9237"
"ENLISTMENT_CHOICE" = "NEVER"
"PROJECT_FILE_RELATIVE_PATH" = ""
"NUMBER_OF_EXCLUDED_FILES" = "4"
"EXCLUDED_FILE0" = "Content\\combinedStyles.css"
"EXCLUDED_FILE1" = "Scripts\\combinedScripts.js"
"ORIGINAL_PROJECT_FILE_PATH" = ""
"NUMBER_OF_NESTED_PROJECTS" = "0"
"SOURCE_CONTROL_SETTINGS_PROVIDER" = "PROVIDER"
}
